The weather

♦ During July and August it can get really hot.

♦ Mornings and evenings are particularly pleasant, the nights are always cool and mosquito free because of the swifts which circle the house at night.

♦ June and September remain pretty warm but high temperatures are less frequent.

♦ Spring and autumn time is extremely beautiful in the Cevennes, with exceptionally beautiful and diverse colors and light.

♦ Due to recent climate changes the level of water in the river can be very low at times, normally from the beginning of July till the middle of September. From time to time this can limit swimming in the Ganière.

♦ For this reason, we are looking out for some nice new swimming spots in the area, which we will then be able to recommend to our guests.
